Hello World

Thank you for clicking. You really didn’t have to; in fact, I’m not entirely sure what I did to deserve it.

Let’s start this folly by explaining a little about what this site is. Road & Rig is a large net cast into the mind of a single author, dredging up ramblings on all things vehicular.

That sounds pretty damn pretentious… which it probably is. Who am I to decide? What you can expect is the occasional nerd-fuelled outburst, some gushing over the latest and shiniest hardware, and maybe—even just maybe—a review or two. There will almost certainly be plenty of side-tracked curiosity along the way.

As the name implies, this isn’t limited to the real world. Road & Rig is a place for the worship of all things wheeled—both out on the asphalt and at home in a sim rig. I’m an avid car fan; I enjoy going fast on track, and when I can’t do that, I go fast on the rig.
